Students are admitted to KSS through placement by the Rwanda Education Board (REB) and the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) after National Examinations. Placement decisions are made based on exam results and school availability.
Understanding the placement process and requirements
Requirement: Students must take and pass Primary 6 National Examinations.
Placement to O' Level is determined by REB/NESA based on Primary 6 exam results and school availability. Students are placed into S1 (Senior 1) and progress through S2 and S3.
Requirement: Students must complete O' Level and pass National Examinations.
Placement to A' Level is determined by REB/NESA based on O' Level National Exam results and school availability. Students are placed into S4 (Senior 4) and progress through S5 and S6.
Transfers may be possible if space allows, but they must be approved by REB/NESA with proper authorization.
